This was a starting point for picking up my ship heading for South Georgia and Antarctica. I was so excited about being here and what was to come.

My top 4 things I enjoyed in the Falklands

  1. The wildlife.
  2. Visiting a place I had seen on the TV during the Falklands conflict and seeing it in the flesh. Many British and Argentinian lives were lost in this conflict.
  3. Walking through the airport and hearing British accents - this felt very strange given that I had traveled many hours to get here.
  4. The peace and quiet of Port Stanley.
